Home Sunbed Prep Checklist

Everything to have ready before your TanBox sunbed delivery — so installation takes 15 minutes, not 45. Download the PDF, print it, tick it off.

What's on the checklist

1. Room & space

• Lie-down: clear 7ft × 4ft. Stand-up: 4ft × 4ft plus 6ft 6in head-height.
• Hard floor preferred. Allow 60cm clearance around the bed.
• A room with curtains or blinds for privacy.

2. Power

• Standard UK 13A socket within 2m. No extension leads.

3. Access

• Doorways at least 75cm wide. Tell us about 2+ flights of stairs in advance.
• Move pets and small children to another room for the 15-minute install.

4. Skin prep

• Shower and exfoliate. Skip perfume, deodorant and oily moisturiser.
• Use a tanning lotion or accelerator, not sun cream (it blocks UV).
• Wear the UV goggles every session.

5. Safe sessions

• Start short — 3 to 10 minutes depending on your skin type.
• Wait at least 24 hours between sessions. Never more than one per day.

6. End of hire

• Wipe the acrylic with the cleaner we leave you. We'll text a 2-hour collection window.
